Troy supposes it could be worse. He could miss out on the next few games, but he won't. As timing wants it, the Guardians fly out of the Play-Offs the same day Troy does. Though, objectively, they have it better. The rest of the team isn't lying in a stuffed hospital all the way in Edmunton, by now they must be back in Toronto. Home. Or the closest thing Troy has to a home, though it... Perhaps... Troy tries to shake the thoughts away as he feels the loneliness creep up on him. He doesn't like thinking about it.
Or: An unfortunate check leaves Troy stranded in the hospital of an unfamiliar city, where he can't seem to fall asleep.

Thunder rumbled too close for Clown's comfort. "Rek!", he yelled. Rekrap's head turned around. "What?", his responding yell sounded over the rushing wind. Clown gesticulated towards the forest below, which he was sinking closer and closer to. "We need to land!"

Summary
"I know it's stupid", Minute whispers. Mane thinks he can hear the tears Minute is fighting.
"It's not stupid, Min", Mane says after a long pause.
Minute's only answer is a disbelieving hum as they pull into the parking lot and get out of the car.
Mane leads Minute into the building and to the elevator without asking. No matter what's up with Minute, walking up stairs for twelve stories is unlikely to help.
Or: After not hearing from Minute for two weeks, his rival on the ice and maybe-friend Mane gets a call from him, asking if he can stay with Mane after leaving from the hospital. Mane has questions, but answers are hard.

Summary
Minute's hopefully fixed headache turn out to not be fixed, and his hope rapidly dwindling as he enters the full and stinking train, which is, of course, late.
He holds on for dear life onto the straps on the ceiling as the world swims before his eyes and his legs wobble below him. The bodies pressed and shifting against his sides are disgustingly hot and the only thing keeping Minute upright. The screeching of tires sparking against rails echoes in Minutes ears, pulsing and hot, burning as he tries to fight the pain by pressing his ears shut.
Or: Minute goes to work sick, as expected, it doesn't make anything better. (The opposite, really)

Summary
Living hidden as they were, no member of HBG has had the luxury of putting on significant amounts of fat, but Couri looks so thin even in comparison. Starved. His hair has started to fall out and and as Fein breathes in a steady rythm, Couri is beginning to pant.

The clock ticks. The IV line drips.
Minute averts his eyes from the ceiling to focus on his toes. The worry in him calms again as he wiggles them to make sure he still can.
"I thought you you were doing better", Spoke's accusing voice continues to ring in Minute's ears.
Or: Minute is checked a bit to hard for comfort during a game, he ends up in the hospital to 'just make sure' and reminisces how nothing is ever sure in his life.
