The piglin brandished his sword and cut down the first few mobs in front. The horde didn’t even look his way. He managed to get through a good few before some noticed his presence and lunged. They quickly fell beneath his hooves. Now that Techno was closer, he could see what the mobs were congregating around. Dodging past spider legs, arrows, and heavy-footed zombies was a little black-and-white blur, and when it tripped over its tiny feet, Techno got a good look at what it was.
A baby.
And a baby enderman at that, judging by the inky black skin and faint particles floating around it.

But this year Techno actually had a goal.
Not a romantic one. He never seemed to have those for whatever reason.
He opened the box in front of him, reaching in and sorting the contents neatly on the table.
LEGOs. A weird muggle invention of little plastic bricks that slotted into each other to make statues. Tommy had explained the point of them to Techno a couple years ago, back when Techno was in second year and Tommy in first. Techno had finally managed to get his hands on one. He wasn't about to let a random holiday get in the way of his greatest achievement so far.
Even if he had to flick paper hearts off his instructions every couple seconds.

The first time Phil hugs him, he doesn’t know what to do. They have broken out of the Vault and Techno is covered in his shadows, and Phil isn’t afraid of him. Phil puts his arms around him and presses his face into his shoulder, and it’s like having his shadows crowd close, but better. Phil is warm, and Techno can feel his breathing, and he doesn’t have to stay close to Techno like the shadows do, but he does it anyways. Techno curls his arms around his friend and holds him, and then they hold hands when they walk into the city as free men. They eat junk food and Phil laughs with a smudge of orange dust on his cheek, and Techno thinks that he wants to see Phil laugh every day of his life.
Or: Technoblade and the man he loves, and learning what their love looks like.

Standing between his legs to get closer. Techno wished he owned a jukebox. He wished he had anything to slice through the tension that only he seemed to feel, a cold wrap to lay over his heated neck, anything to feel a little less like he was hiding something from Ranboo, who seemed to be having genuine fun.

Tommy didn't have many good things happen in his life, his parents were dead, he was put in foster care, his social worker doesn't really care, and he doesn't feel emotions and express them like other people from traumatic experiences, but when he gets put in a new house, he starts to realize that this home... might not be so bad.
And maybe he... isn't a 'he', after all.
Or, foster kid Tommy gets put in the Watson house! Bonding ensues, and maybe a bit of happiness, too. And 3/4 SBI are queer.

Tommy hadn’t always liked being small. Not just (though he’d never admit it) short, but thin as well. Yet, he’d always understood why. It just made sense- it was so he could fit through small places like his bedroom window, it was so he could get to perches a normal human could never, it was so he could be light. It was for the same reason he was wearing a ratty t-shirt with a messily cut open back.
It was necessary for moments like these, because he could finally be free.Or: Tommy has is......not human. Somehow no one has found out yet. He's also an orphan, best friends with tubbo, in the foster system, goes over to dream's house occasionally, and has an annoyingly persistent faerie that has seemed to take quite the interest in him.

When he becomes infatuated with a beautiful mortal named George he overexerts his power and his sister deity, Drista-the young god of chaos, gives George an emerald collar that takes away DreamXD's godly powers and transfers them through aphrodisiac induced ritual to George making him a new deity in the pantheon. Trapped in the overworld with a collar locked around his neck that suppressed his power and gives it to others through sex ritual if they utter the magical word Hubris, Dream must speedrun a quest of redemption in order to gain the favor of the new deity, GeorgeHD, so he may be released from his torment. Along the way he gets help from a found family comprised of wilbur, tommy, technoblade and philza.

Tears dripped off of his chin and dotted the white silk of Techno's shirt – the patch of melancholy red was spreading, but was still mainly confined to the lower half of his torso – as he brushed away the loose hairs from the warrior's face, letting his palm remain cradling his cheek. Still warm. Of course it was, but – that damn smile, so beautiful and sad. He had killed his best friend. He had killed the man who couldn't die."
Possessed by the Egg, Phil kills Techno -- kneeling in a pool of his best friend's blood, suddenly free of the destructive influence and forced to grapple with what he's done, he vows to bring him back, whatever the cost. He could not possibly have imagined what that cost would be.
Or, what we do for love and what love does to us.
