Summary
As the son of the Head Peacekeeper, Light vowed to his father to always protect his sister before his dad died in a tragic accident. When Sayu is reaped during the 74th Hunger Games, he knows that he has to take her place, even if he is trans and to volunteer comes at the cost of protecting his identity. His fellow District 12 tribute has scars of his own to deal with, and when the Games throw them together they end up igniting a spark in a deadly game against the Capitol- and each other.
