Summary
War was imminent. It was coming fast. It was coming with the promise of blood shed and ash falling over ruined bodies. War was coming to Earth. Battle that it’s lands had never seen before.
War so ruthless, so violent, aliens so terrible, that the Justice League for the first time in its existence, was assembling all of their forces.
Young Justice still stood around Tim, ready to fight and protect their leader as if the battle was mere seconds away. Power floated around the once young team.
Tim leaned forward, hands on the table, as he stood in the place where Batman always stood. The place at the head of the table. The place of a leader. And an army stood behind him.
“You’ve gathered your forces as quick as you could,” He grinned sharply, his dominion mask shifting, “I’ve gathered mine.”

Summary
Since blockbuster discovered his identity, Dick feels out of the options, with the villain killing anyone close to him to punish him. He's already lost his circus family, he can't let his vigilante family get hurt too. So when Blockbuster blows up Dick's apartment building, Dick decides he's out of options, and uses the event to fake his death, he won't let anyone else get hurt because of him.

Summary
Tim is typing on the batcomputer when someone enters the cave.
"Timmie, trust me when I say you will not believe what I'm about to say."
Normally Tim would scoff and tell Dick not to call him Timmie, Him coming into the cave to happily talk for hours isn't new. What makes Tim pause is the way dick sounds slightly out of breath as he's been running all the way here, and the worrying fact his voice is little bit too off pitch like he's excited and terrified at the same time.
Tim stops his typing on the batcomputer, making sure to click out of any thing confidential because his siblings have way more elaborate ways than this to try and butt in on one of his cases. When he's turns face dick he is still in civilian clothes. oh god, what kind of valuable information could he have stumbled upon as a normal civilian.
"Shoot" Tim responds.
Dick burst out the words. "Damian has a friend!"
Tim, for lack of a better word, bluescreens. "What."
"I know, that's exactly what I thought." Dick starts pacing around on the cave floor. "he was even playing tag and everything!"
"...What?"
OR: King's plan succeeds, he gets rid of the collector for good and banishes him to Gotham.

Well. That’s not entirely true. He remembers Thomas Wayne and Martha Kane.
He remembers back before Gotham had turned into hell on earth, before there were new crazies every other week, before the only emotion the entire population of Gotham felt was fear. Gotham was never perfect, but the Gotham Tim returned to was a far cry worse than the one he had left.
Although, Tim muses to himself, that was a good 50 years ago.

Summary
Tim was a lonely kid, and there was only so much to do in an empty house filled with everything but the warmth of living bodies. So when his parents bring back an ancient book that they can’t read from one of their expeditions, Tim asks if he can have it. Unlike with the more fragile and expensive artifacts, they decided to humor him without thinking much on it. He very quickly finds out that the book is in fact an occult grimoire. Now, Tim was generally considered very smart for his age, a genius even. But he was still 10, and he was very curious to see if this book was real. One ritual and one demon later he makes a wager, if the demon can beat him at a game of cards he can take his soul, but if Tim wins then he gets 5 extra years of life. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and the demons at least provided him some entertainment. Now Tim is 17. He’s been 17 for a long time, not that anyone seems to notice his lack of aging.

Tim was a lonely kid left in a house of artifacts. So when he finds a book that can summon demons, he decides to give it a try. Somehow this leads to him becoming practically immortal and John Constantine's apprentice, all without the Bats knowing.
