    For an investigative journalist like Superman Clark Kent, that just makes him more fascinating. When Batman (finally) joins the Justice League, Superman is— to say the least— intrigued, and eager to get to know the mysterious Gotham Bat. So is everyone else. But only Clark has a crush on Batman... which leads to him accidentally discovering the man’s real identity. However, before Clark can act on this information (other than telling Batman that he knows), he dies. And when he comes back, things are not the same, because Bruce and Diana are dating.

      I was absolutely horrified reading the scene where he first vanished. I love the descriptions, 100% would get points on "show don't tell" properties, oh my god. I love this premise and story, I was reading it to my sister who is absolutely not a comic nerd like I am or someone who reads comic fanfic, and she was invested. "Yes! Oh my god, keep reading and tell me what happens." when Bruce realizes what the cuffs were for. "Oh my heart!" at the study scene. - Literally only thing I didn't absolutely love was the lack of acknowledgement on what was happening with other characters, but it also is understandable to keep Bruce and Clark in their little bubble being the main focus. And a bit of repetition with the descriptions in the first chapter. All said with the utmost respect and zero request or implication that things should be rewritten AT ALL. Love this story. Love the way you write. - 10/10
