Summary
No one was beyond saving. At least, that's what Link thought before encountering a mysterious man named Dark with an even more mysterious past. As they work together to reunite Hyrule with worlds long forgotten and pick up the pieces of Dark's life, they'll discover that no matter who you are, it's never too late to be saved from the edge of darkness.
Set approximately one year after the events of Ocarina of Time, except Link never went back in time. In this story, Dark is not Link's shadow or dark side, but rather a person that he meets during a new adventure - but don't worry, dear readers. He still retains some essence of the Dark Link you might know and love from similar works of fiction. Certain chapters in this story contain trigger warnings, and there are several instances of strong language throughout the story.

The immortal teen drops his scroll and turns towards everyone.
The words that leave The Hero’s Spirit leaves the whole room standing still.

Because no one could stop them when it was their fault their best friend was in trouble once again.----
I'm doing an in-depth character—and trauma—study, to explore the idea of a single hero of the Four Sword (Four from Jojo56830's Linked Universe AU is my absolute fave because I love the Four Swords manga and The Minish Cap) where his other selves aren't the result of arbitrary splits made by the Four Sword's magic, but the result of a traumatized Link developing Dissociative Identity Disorder.
So here's a retelling of Four Swords (anniversary edition!) featuring a Link with multiple personalities as a result of his adventures!This story (and all my others) are now on official mental health hiatus.

Summary
To say Dark was scatterbrained during this interaction was putting it lightly, his thoughts never really did latch onto one thing at a time, it wandered and pooled like lakes and streams flowing endlessly in every and all directions. Even while doing something as, admittedly taxing and distracting at this.
Blue makes an offhanded request, that might be a mistake when it comes to a guy like Dark Link.

Summary
The Depths were home for Dark, as comfortable and important to him as Hyrule above was for his hero counterpart. A vast, seemingly endless expanse that served as a graveyard for those defeated by the light. He himself had been defeated by a Hero long ago, and lived in the depths since. Malice revived monsters formed camps, an imitation of Hylian villages and he protected those that lived there, just as the Hero would for his people. The depths were safety for the slain that they would not have to fall again to the light.
