Summary
Link wakes up in a forest that is not one he knows, to the sound of someone humming a peaceful tune that he’d only ever heard howled. He sits bolt upright, eyes wide, only to feel a sharp pain in his side.
“Careful now,” says a nearby voice. The voice has a sharp, grating edge to it, and he almost thinks he recognizes it. “You’re still injured.”
He jolts, looking around for the source of the voice, and sees a tall figure, shrouded in the shadows cast by the trees.

Twilight wakes up in a forest he doesn't know, with an injury he doesn't remember getting, being tended to by a one eyed stranger that's a lot more familiar than he initially thought. Neither of them seem to know how or why they're in this strange, new Hyrule, but Twilight's determined to find out. And if he and his not-yet-dead mentor bond along the way, then that's just how it goes. The two of them are heroes, after all. Nothing can stop them.
But something isn't quite right.

Summary
It's kinda of like trying to coax a stray cat out of the cold; you're gonna get scratched and it's gonna take a while. Thankfully, Time's got all the time in the world.
Except, he doesn't.
When a 'business trip' goes south, the rest of the Chain are left scrambling without their leader as someone slowly and methodically hunts them down. No clear motive and not a clue as to who's doing it, one by one the group is whittled down as the rest do their best to guess what's going to happen next.
In other words, this is an antihero au but also an homeless-adoption au but also a mystery at the same time.
(And I'm sorry about the constantly switching POV/ sticking with a POV for a while before suddenly switching to someone else's)
