Instincts sharp enough to recognise him as a potential threat, but enough situational awareness to know not to pull out a weapon in public…or maybe he just knew the ones he carried would be of little assistance against another human, especially one as skilled as him.
Whatever the case, he nodded once in approval, smirking when the boy’s eyes widened.

Izuku sighed. He pulled the trigger to the BB gun in his hands, he was barely aiming at the yellow tentacle monster thing. The sound of bullets as their teacher took attendance was annoying after a while. All Izuku wanted to do was go to a new school, one where no one knew who he was. And now here he is shooting pink balls at a yellow octopus with the capability to destroy the moon and apparently the earth too.

Midoriya and the rest of class 1A had started their time at UA with an unusual first year considering the moon exploded and they were hounded by the league of villains at every step. It seems their second year was shaping up to be more of the same, complete and utter chaos.

After finishing their mission and assassinating Korosensei the public declare class 3E criminals and the government decides to make the UA's problem, specifically class 2A. Now the members of 3E have to process the loss of their teacher while being called villains by everyone around them and being "rehabilitated".
