When one of Watari's test inventions blows up, it sends the two smartest people back in time. The Beloved Kira, Light Yagami, is sent backwards to when L was eight and living at Wammy's House. As for The World's Greatest Detective, L, he is sent to the future to where Light won. However, the Light he knows in the present and the one he sees in the future makes him realize they might just be two sides of the same coin after all.

After various failed attempts by scientists to produce offspring, they decided to pair Naomi with another Mer named L. L was a captive bred merman and seems to take a liking towards Light instead.

Today I woke up thinking about "rebirth" rite of passages. Maybe initiation rites are rebirth rites in a way. I'm not sure where this came from. I woke up thinking about the topic of atonement and how it can be in vain.
This is a collection of my Death Note works which are set in an AU where L has been kidnapped by Light and Beyond, and is being or has been brainwashed and tortured by the two of them, as “rehabilitation for his sins.”
They are all ongoing! There might be gaps between updates, but I’ll make sure to update in the summary if any of them ever go on hiatus, are abandoned, or are completed.

Light had been in love with L, but it’s hard to say what that means now. The three of them met through the ED-focused website Light owns and moderates. Light claims to have recovered but he hasn’t; Beyond never made any such promises.
Because it’s not fair, it’s not fair, it’s not fair that Light is grasping for the wisps of him when Beyond had all the rest, and hadn’t Light loved him the most and the best? Hadn’t he deserved him? But he swallows that down because it doesn’t matter anymore. No one has him.
