“Ratings,” Alastor said without hesitation—upon which his entire face lit up, cracking a grin to match Angel’s. “Ratings.”

Nighttime had settled over Hell. AV Entertainment remain awake, waiting for sleep to find them on this quiet Saturday night. Vox sits up in bed, reading his new favourite novel. Next to him, Alastor taps a pen on the page of a book of puzzles, determined to be undefeated as he squints through his reading glasses. Realisation settles in, rising like scum to the top of the glass. It’s unsettling, uncomfortable— vulnerable’s the better term for it, but Vox for all his pride won’t go that far. He nestles his bookmark where he left off before shutting the book and laying it on his lap.
"I was married, y'know." Vox muses, numb and mostly to himself.

charlie gets caught by Valentino on the way to the hotel from cannibal Town. He intended to make her pay after the fire and trying to take angel with her. He kidnaps her. 12 hours later ina horrible rain storm angel dust comes out to find her on the steps of the hotel unable to move. He and husk help get her to her room but Charlie won't speak to anyone. She's barred herself in her room, screams every time Vaggie gets near her, eventually the ex-execution stops trying. She goes to Alastor and asks him to help Charlie. What he ends up finding out is enough to make his careful control slip. But he's got a princess of hell to rally and restore first.
