It has been over a year since Rebecca 'Bex' Munson and Eddie Munson had shown up on Wayne's doorstep, explaining their situation to him in a desperate frenzy. It has been over a year since he immediately took them in. It has been less than a year since Rebecca 'Bex' Munson took on the name 'Bex the Basketcase'.
Finally finding her footing in normalcy, she aims to have a good year. However, things take a turn for the worse when she finds out that the boy she babysits - Will Byers - has gone missing, dragging her further down into the depths of disaster.
The warnings she once recalled hearing become visions too.
However, she still hears the same thing - it watches.

But something strange is about to happen in Hawkins that will force the pair together, and if they hope to survive, they'd better put their differences aside.

I sighed, looking at the Chief and the worried mother. I looked over to the scientists on either side of them, before nodding.
Opening the sealed door with the code, the reinforced steel door swung open. I glanced to the room beside us, the man inside nodding towards me, and I let out a breath I hadn't realized I was holding. I ran inside the room, slamming the door in the faces of the others before picking up a chair and blocking the doors, frantic yelling on the other side.
"I'll see you in hell, chief."

Ever since your best friend Will Byers went missing, things were never the same again in Hawkins, Indiana. Between drama with family, friends, and the supernatural; life as Harrington had never been more weird, or fun.
Nobody normal ever did anything great; and anyway, normal was boring.
Warning: There are some darker themes within the story about mental health. Please do not read if stuff like that will be triggering. There are also injuries and blood within the story.
