    You think you know the Sandman? I assure you, no one knew him better than a handful of people. His parents, Night and Time; his siblings: Destiny, Death, Destruction, Desire, Despair, and Delirium; his human friend, Hob Gadling; and a human woman who was a dreamer and, most likely, the love of his existence - Belle.

    Of course, he must aid her in a time of great need before they become such a romantic duo. How must he aid her? As her beloved, affectionate, abnormally large pet cat, of course. And as the man she dreams and fantasizes about when she should be doing labs and calculus.

    Isn't it against the rules for an Endless to love a mortal? Perhaps, but nothing good in life comes easy.

    Follow Belle and Dream through their lives and adventures; their hopes and struggles as they traverse labyrinths between worlds and dimensions. As they brave the depths of Hell and agony. As they come face to face with gods, monsters, and demons. And as their love for each other grows stronger... endlessly.

    It starts when Desire drags his ass out to a fetish party in Brixton when he would rather have been tucked safely away in his studio. It starts with a few hits of MDMA, an unwise promise, and a conversation over heard in the smoking section. It starts with a man named Robert who smiles like the sun, takes him in hand and takes him a part, one piece at a time.

    Look, Dream knows he's a mess, in almost every way, but he just came out to Torture Garden to ostensibly have a good time. He didn't intend to have every aspect of his existence turned upside down, inside out, and unraveled. Yet here he fucking is.

    With themes of memory, love, and rebirth, the story follows their quiet, lingering presence in a world that believes Dream has truly died. But not all endings are final. May this be a quiet place to explore their story, their bond, and all the moments that never made it into the stars.

    The continuation of the storyline is primarily based on the TV show, most are Healing Morpheus but still has Morpheus X OC. You've been warned.

    In most universes, the first thing does after being freed from the basement of Fawney Rig is recover his tools. He does not realize that Desire is the one responsible for his predicament until after the Vortex Debacle.

    But this universe, this one is a little different.

    Because in this one, Desire can’t help but gloat while their older brother lay curled at the bottom of the glass globe.

    (They blame it on him, saying that they’re trying to teach him a lesson.)

    (Dream hadn’t realized they hated him this much.)

    (And then Jessamy happens and all Dream can think about is how to get even.)

    So when Dream gets out this time, he heads straight to the Threshold to confront Desire.

    ”You wish to define me by our conflict, Desire? Very well. Our Dispute is all I am and all I shall ever be,” the fracturing form of Dream snarls.
