He wasn’t Philza Watson, CEO of a multi-million-dollar company, the person who made decisions that affected hundreds of people’s lives all day, a hybrid so rare that his public appearances made the news as “avian activity”. He was just Phil, Techno’s Phil, who had to do what he was told. Or push back against it, as the case might be. He grinned at his dom as the other man clipped the leash to the ring at the front of the collar. “So, how much trouble am I in?”
Techno looked at him, eyebrows raised. He wound the leash absently around his hand. Phil kept grinning up at him. His husband started moving across the room, tugging Phil with him. “Oh, I’m sure this’ll be fun for you,” Techno said, tone dry. He handed the leash to Dream, tucked up on the end of the couch watching them over the edge of his phone. “Dream, you’re in charge of him.”
“What the fuck?” Dream spluttered. He held the end of the leash like it was slimy.
Wilbur, leaning against one of the bookcases, laughed. It sounded startled and delighted, the sort of sound Phil loved to pull out of him when he wasn’t the butt of the joke.

George, still traumatized from what he went through in Dream's cell, comes home and begs Sapnap to help him rescue Dream from Sam. Sapnap, after some persuasion, agrees, and soon they get Technoblade and Ranboo along for the ride.
EXCERPT: Techno nodded. “Then I need you to trust me when I say I need your help to break Dream out of prison.” Ranboo gapes at him, aware his mouth is open and he looks like a fool. But. What? “I and others have witnessed that Sam is… abusing him, to the point that no one deserves, not even that piece of shit.”
Ranboo frowned harder than before. “Isn’t that the point of prison?”
Techno shook his head, looking at the floor. “Not this kind of abuse. There are ways to rehabilitate people, and what Sam is doing is–is just wrong, and not rehabilitating.”
