In this spin-off of Record of Ragnarok, Beelzebub’s personal experiment logs reveals more than just the cyle of another one of his countless, deranged experiments. He tells a story; a solitary god cursed with endless misery, stumbling upon a mysterious childlike being at the banks of the River Styx.
At first, she is nothing more than a subject to dissect and study. Yet, with each record of observation, the drawn line between cold experimentation and sentimental guardianship begins to blurr.
Gradually, Beelzebub uncovers the strange power within her and gets closer to understanding her true nature. But with every discovery, he is forced to confront questions that shift between cold experimentation and inner conflicting turmoil.
Through his guardianship, Beelzebub finds himself drawn into a bond that challenges his solitude and threatens to disrupt the cycle of curses that afflicts his existence.
And still yet, there is one secret that is destined to change everything and force him to finally face the question he has been evading the whole time.

Poppa never wrote it down, and Henrietta wasn’t the prodigy people expected her to be.
Henri stayed there for hours, looking for anything that might be left, but her mother did an out-and-out job. The only thing left were the same pebbles and stones that’d always be there, and maybe a few more scuff marks. By the time she was done surveying the area, the trees had grown taller and darker, the trickling stream nearby roughened, and the coyotes were about to start their nightly prowl. Henrietta went home after that; what use would she be as coyote food?
