While his brother looks after Elrond and Elros, finding peace in their cheerful innocence, he is drawn inexorably to their caretaker and into a bond he thought would never happen.
For young Harriet Potter, her life had never been the same since witnessing death well before her time, and the agonies of alienation, mockery, and loss since that day have poisoned her soul. Yet upon arrival to Beleriand she is granted a second chance in life, to live again. And when she encounters the eldest son of Fëanor, both their destinies are forever altered: and the mighty Oath—sworn and witnessed by the highest of the high—is blunted.
