(I love researching the intricacies and unknowns of a fandom, so I wrote a history book on Ilvermorny based on both my findings and my imagination.)

For years now, Sombra has been the only one Venture goes to when they find themself in need of reliable information. For almost as long, Sombra and Venture have been hooking up almost any time they end up meeting. But, when Venture tells Sombra they could go out to eat, or hang out at their place rather than always meet in the back of the same seedy nightclub, Sombra is quick to pull away. She's not looking for complicated.
Venture is quick to follow the boundary, but Sombra finds herself missing the parts of a relationship a "colleague with benefits" just isn't entitled to. Maybe some things are worth getting complicated.

Eleven years ago, the Antichrist was born. Set to bring upon the end of the world, the baby was to be delivered to an order of satanic nuns by the demon Crowley. The baby would then be raised by a human family, come into his powers upon his eleventh birthday, and the Earth would end in fire and brimstone.
And that is what happened.
Or, what everyone believed had happened.
In reality, Crowley was a little sick of things ending in fire and brimstone, and thought the idea of the Earth going down like a lead balloon to be a bad one indeed. His partner, the angel Aziraphale, also agreed. Now eleven years since, Adam C. Fell is just about to celebrate his birthday, and he doesn’t really want Armageddon to happen. It would be a shame if the world ended, and if he is the one who has to stop himself from doing so, then so be it.
But these types of things are never quite that simple, and with so many other players in this ineffable game running about, things won’t go exactly as planned. That’s alright, I suppose. You have to work with what you got.
