He didn’t really mind not finding his soulmate when he was younger but now all of his friends are finding theirs and he realized that they are much happier with their soulmates. So when Gon meets Killua he knows that Killua is low key lonely so he offers to help and find Killuas soulmate and maybe he won’t be such an ass
