(I'm sorry the title sucks. I just watched the Labyrinth twice in the last week and I love Jareth and I have been INSPIRED TO WRITE AGAIN!)
Y/n doesn't have the best life. Her mom is abusive, an acholic, and her part time job is barely paying the bills, despite all this, she tries her best to be optimistic, knowing that one day, things will get better. Or at least, that's what she tells herself anyway, but maybe the owl who's been visiting her can convince her otherwise.-

Fate hanging in the balance, Sarah must remember the words...
Another of my ancient fics from my teens (a very short one), being added for the purposes of creative / community preservation. They haven't been online since they were removed during one of the NC-17 culls, and my personal site hasn't been online in a looooong time.
I was feeling rather mean when I wrote this, it seems! I'm not really one for Properly Evil Jareth (I suppose I used Jaden to fulfil that need), but now I look back, this comes off even more wicked/wrong than I remember, with the emphasis on Sarah's innocence and the POV.
Not actually underage where I'm from, assuming Sarah is 16. Again, I've added it *as-is*, despite the embarrassment of being a writer looking back at their previous works!

Summary
Jareth wants to claim his queen. Sarah has some hesitation about what being his queen actually entails, and thinks that he's playing games- games that she has no interest in playing. At least when she's awake. Clearly, her subconscious wants him enough to continue summoning him in her sleep. Now all that Jareth has to do is make her wish for his presence when she happens to be sleep-talking, and he can make her his forever.
