The silence was back. Blitz wanted to be sick. He wanted to smash every bottle behind the bar, to sweep the table and pull Stolas up and climb on top of him, to shoot every other patron in the face to stop them from watching. The seconds dragged on and he knew this, right here, was him missing his chance. Last call for boarding. All he had to do was say that he was sorry too.

Before Loona can try any lame attempts at conversation her phone buzzes wildly, and she pulls it out of her pocket and groans. “Fucking Blitzø,” she grumbles under her breath, staring at the wall of texts he sent, each one less decipherable than the last. She knows what he’s saying without even having to read it though. Just him playing his protective dad role he loves so much and telling her to come home early and ‘let hte cown pey 4 evythimg’.
Another 30-second span of buzzing fills the car but it’s from Fizz’s phone this time, the clown pulling it out and snorting as he reads what is surely another similar wall of text from Blitzø. Loona flushes, embarrassed, and leans back into the seat, shoving her hands in her pockets and leaving her dad on read.
“Sorry about him. He’s so fucking overbearing, it’s kind of insane.”
Fizz laughs again, typing something in reply before tucking his phone away again. “You do not have to explain Blitzø’s neuroses to me, I was there when they were made! He was like my own personal bodyguard growing up, believe me, I get it.”

Parenthood is hard, especially when you are a single parent to a hellhound who is suffering from a terrible case of food poisoning. One so bad, she's crying in her sleep and is utterly helpless to take care of herself. Regardless of his inexperience, nothing is going to stop Blitzo from caring about his daughter as he goes through a struggle after struggle to make sure his adopted daughter gets better. He'll do whatever it takes for Loona and go through whatever pain and suffering necessary for her.

Upon hearing his voice, the imp groaned. “Stolas, I don’t have time for your shit right now. I’m taking my daughter to the doctor and I am NOT about to reschedule! It took me months just to get this one.” He spoke as he remembered the hours he spent calling the office, and almost ready to barge through the door to give the staff a piece of his mind
“I’m terribly sorry to interrupt what you’re doing, but I’m a bit tied up at the moment.”
Blitz was unsure of what he meant by that. “What, did somebody rob you or something?”
Stolas could be heard sighing on the other line. “No, I meant I’m literally tied up.”
The imp nearly choked on nothing as soon as he heard this. “Wait, what?!”

When Via opens her eyes she has to blink several times to clear the spots out of her vision. She can make out the distant shapes of her father and his boyfriend, both of them furiously rubbing their eyes.
Loona is nowhere to be seen.
‘Did I do it?’ she thinks with a giddy sense of relief.
But then something small stumbles into her legs. She looks down and a hellhound pup with big, red eyes stares up at her.
Staring at the child, it takes Via way too long to realize what just happened even though the signs are all there. The familiar grayish fur, the spiked dog collar hanging loose around a thin neck, the band t-shirt almost falling off narrow shoulders and looking like a nightgown the way it flows past knees, the empty pants pooled around small ankles.
It takes way too long.
“Oh shit.”

A magical mishap turns Loona into a child for 24 hours. Not only does this give the hellhound the chance to experience a childhood she never had, it also allows Via to see a side of Blitzø she’s never noticed before and maybe even bring her and her own father closer again.
