Summary
Police sirens wail somewhere nearby, quickly getting louder, and the flashing lights briefly light up the inside of the van. Etho flinches at the sudden noise and light, and Beef bumps their shoulders together reassuringly. He hopes it helps. The police car is probably heading to the same place they are, police backup normally gets called for missions like these.
And the mission?
A previously b-tier villain, calling himself Wither, had revealed necromancy, going on a murder spree and doing frankly horrible things to the bodies before raising them from the dead. With their reanimation, they have become bound to him, and he now has an army, ready to take over the city.
Beef’s not really sure how they’re meant to stop him.
