Summary
John Sheppard wakes up on a Hive Ship with no memory of who he is or how he got there. All he knows is that he's cocooned among Wraith and in danger. When Wraith come to take him away- to his death, he assumes- he is suprised to be brought to quarters of the Commander. He's even more surprised when the Commander seems more interested in talking to him than eating him.
So here he is, a sheep among wolves, with the Alpha a far cry from the menacing figure he would have imagined.
Then there are the flashes he sees out of the corner of his eyes. the whispers of his past he can't seem to grasp for more than a few moments. And the pesky voice in his head telling him to keep trying regardless.
Something's telling him that the Wraith he's growing ever closer to is the key to unlocking his past. But with each passing day and each flash growing more violent than the last, he becomes less and less sure that he even wants to remember. Even if it means putting the fate of the Galaxy in jeopardy.

Summary
The Atlantis Expedition has been stranded in the Pegasus galaxy for two years, unable to make contact with Earth. John Sheppard's life has been changed forever after being bitten by the mutated wraith queen Elia. His first real clue came watching him train and spar like that, sweat beaded on his brow with warmth, yet, he trained in a black, long sleeve shirt and gray, Atlantis issue BDU cargos. Even he, a cold blooded being, preferred to train in a sleeveless tunic and loose pants even on board his hive as it traveled through the cold darkness of space. Whatever John was keeping from everyone, it did concern his body in some way. He had an idea of what it might be, an idea he understood all too well, but he in no way assumed that his first suspicion was correct. Even now with his sensory pits detecting small traces of blood. Not that he could definitely say what was going on without evidence to back it up, but it certainly amplified his concern.
***UPDATE: Dr. Weir has been changed to Mr. Woolsey in this. LMK if I missed pronouns somewhere and accidentally misgender poor Mr. Woolsey. T-T That pain be too real. Firstlight's name has been changed to Shockwave. As I said, Chaniis' character is so well crafted that I hadn't realized he wasn't a canon character from legacy. They're a talented writer to be sure.***

The Genii rule the entire galaxy, and Atlantis and the Wraith have built an alliance that is based on true friendship, something John has a hard time to believe.
To make their way back to their own world, they need to find a ZPM, but most of all, they need the help of the mirror New Lanteans and their allied Wraith. Summary
Lieutenant, Kayna Neric, is on her first assignment at Atlantis. Her skills in combat landed her a position, guarding Todd the wraith, during a routine transport mission, to a remote outpost. The puddle jumper was attacked by a unknown source, and they are forced to land on a uncharted planet. Only two survive the landing, one Wraith and one Human. Just as the two survivors find comfort in one another, rescue comes and they are separated. The story will (so far) follow Kayna's journey, as she finds a strange acceptance, among Wraith.

Their only hope of escape comes in the form of Wraith from Todd's own alliance, who don't know of Todds "dealings" with humans. It's either be caught or, do what Todd does best and lie. One demonstration later and John finds himself on a Hive alongside his dubious companion. What was supposed to be a temporary stop soon becomes a journey into the vastness of the Pegasus Galaxy with no way to contact Atlantis and no way off the ship without being found out and risking not just death, but Todd's alliance itself. Desperate to get back to their respective homes, John and Todd must embark on a long and dangerous quest with no hope for survival except each other.
Across the Universe is the story of trust, acceptance, and love between two unlikely wayward adventurers. It seems that there certainly is a lot about each other that John and Todd don't know.
