“Wait, if this is your house, why’re we sneaking in?” Blue asks, squinting at them suspiciously.
“Well, you see,” Leo laughs nervously. “We weren’t supposed to leave. We’re kind of, sort of, grounded.”
Someone stifles a laugh in the back of the crowd.
“And our dad will freak if he finds out what we’ve done.” Leo adds on.
With a sharp glare in Leo’s direction, Mikey nods. “Don’t forget our brothers, and Casey. But yeah, it’d be best to lay it on them slowly. In the morning, when we’re all properly rested.”
“Exactly!” Leo clapped his hands. “So, with that settled, let’s be quiet and reconvene in the-”
The lights flicked on. Four figures stood in the doorframe. Three glared daggers into Leonardo and Michelangelo’s souls, and the fourth shuffled anxiously, torn between relief and frustration.
“Fuck. Well, there goes that plan.”
The troublemaking duo shuffled to the side, revealing their many, many variants.
It was at that moment, Donatello knew, he was too damn tired for this.

This is a cross over fic between 03, 12, and rise turtles.
"I'm not being a "downer" I'm being realistic, Raph. He's barely been able to control his portals at all recently." Donnie replies simply.
Leo bit his lip. He would be lying if he said that didn't hurt a bit. He'd been trying so hard to be as good as he needed to be, but it just wasn't working. Not just with the portal opening, but with the whole being a leader thing too. Raph was so good at it. How was Leo ever supposed to be better than him, let alone even come close.
Leo shook his head trying to rid himself of these thoughts, but it didn't work. All he could think about was his family and how he was failing them. He sighs, closes his eyes and tries to make a portal.
"Uh Leo!? I think you did it?!" Exclaims Mikey excitedly. "Leo, open your eyes!! Holy- wow!"
Leo opens his eyes, expecting to see a simple portal in front of him. Only to see five circles high in the air around them. "How did I do that?!"
"Good job Leo!!" Exclaims Raph. "I knew you could do it!!" He and Donnie get up from where they're sitting to stand by Leo and Mikey.
"Uh what's that?"

Summary
It’s been two months since they defeated the Kraang. Things have been almost normal, asides from everyone stepping on eggshells around each other. They’ve been confined to their new lair for two entire months. It’s only a matter of time until one of them gets restless enough to sneak out— and that’s how Leonardo and Michelangelo somehow ended up opening a cross-dimensional gateway.
Having trapped five different variations of themselves within their world, the Hamato family just got a whole lot bigger! When villains from multiple realtors cause havoc, it’s time to save the world (again). And maybe they can stop by the therapist’s office on the way!

Or, Michelangelo’s being hunted down by almost every single villain possible, wanted for his mystic powers. The Rise boys are freshly traumatized, and are desperate for an ounce of normalcy. The 2012 boys are grieving, and need better coping mechanisms. The 2003 and 1987 deserve a nice, long, uninterrupted nap. Ronin takes a parenting class, and tries to learn how to smile again. The 2007 boys are trying to learn how to function as a proper team again. They all need therapy, and the Foot Clan needs to learn when to quit.
