After being cast out of paradise for their judgment against the human race that initiated a rebellion, two angels were cursed and doomed to become the Sun and the Moon, which would provide life and prosperity to those exact human beings they had despised. However, God bestowed his older daughter, the Sun, a beloved or soulmate to spend her immortal life with, abandoning his younger daughter in the new world.
Facing such cruel fate, the Moon was stranded within her palace, wandering those empty halls while longing for a beloved-someone she could spend eternity with.
Until she finally got what she desperately wished and prayed for, and her beloved was finally born, bearing a crescent moon birthmark on her forehead.

Virgil’s just one of many kids who aged out of the foster care system. He was kicked out of the foster house with little to nothing to his name yet expected to be a functioning member of society. He makes enough just to get by working at a fast food restaurant with the manager from hell.
In a rush to get home after a bad day at work, he takes a short-cut through an alleyway and his day goes from bad to worse when he's confronted by a mugger.
Fortunately, he is rescued by a werewolf who happened to be passing by. Unfortunately said werewolf decides he needs protecting and wants Virgil to be a part of their pack.
