The empty ghosts that once roamed the halls make him wonder what it was once like when the people inside were still here and alive. This was the place where his grandfather's ultimate creation was born and where his cousin lost her life over 50 years ago, a place that he both dreamed and hated. The creation and evolution of Sage and her sacrifice egged at the back of his mind, the pain over almost losing her was unbearable at times, but he had grown because he loved her.
He used to hate his family for the distance they all had emotional with him after the loss of his cousin, the way grief ripped at their minds when he was right there had always burned him, but now he understood. The pain of losing a child was something you never got over, he'd forever wonder what Sage could have grown up to be if he hadn't had saved her coding to ensure her return. Ivo couldn't help but wonder if this is what his family felt when G.U.N stole Maria's life and pinned it all on his grandfather.
