“Always that same ‘you’re too clumsy’! Sis, I’ve ma… What's that word again?” He huffed, while still trying to recall the word; “Oh! Matured! Enough to be alone! I’m not the same little guy you knew anymore!”
“Fine, Goob…” She sighed a long, exhausted breath before smiling at him; still concerned and worried for his well-being. “But remember, you must return before the clock hits 4; do you understand?” She pointed at the clock in her room; the old grandfather clock she had received from Rodger as a gift for her recent birthday. Goob nodded nearly instantly; eager to go out- it wasn’t long before he stormed out of her room. He practically bounced out of the room out of pure joy- the kind of joy you’d see in a small toddler unwrapping his Christmas toys.
Goob was always like that; being the energetic toon he was, he always brought her joy; the only spark of sunlight she ever had since Gardenview’s closing.
But what if… that spark of sunlight was gone?
