This chatfic follows an eclectic group of friends, brought together by past endeavors. They were a motley crew of personalities and backgrounds, ranging from the quirky to the utterly bizarre. At the center of the group was a harem, with relationships beginning and shifting all over the place.
The friend group was not without its struggles—many of them had endured abuse in their pasts, and some were dealing with mental illness that made it difficult for them to cope with the complexities of their feelings. Polyamorous relationships were common in the group, with some members having multiple partners at once.
But through all the angst, the group still kept a sense of fun and laughter. They played pranks on each other, shared inside jokes, and pulled each other through difficult times. They were a family, and no matter how much drama there was, they always managed to come out on the other side, stronger and better than before.

Satoru stopped at the doorway. He turned his head over his shoulder. For a moment, it looked like he was facing Kento. The moment was wrong. The only person Satoru was trying to stare at was Suguru.
For once, Kento couldn’t blame Satoru for something. If there was anyone worth staring at, it was Suguru.
“You’re really not coming?” Satoru asked, still pouting.
Suguru nodded. “I’m afraid not.”
“Scared without me? That’s all the more reason to come!”
Satoru’s complaint sounded like a joke. If he didn’t linger at the doorway, it clearly would have been.
Suguru nodded. The gesture was short, yet, from him, it had all the grace of a bow. “Please. Go on without me.”
A look passed between Satoru and Suguru. What it meant, Kento couldn’t tell.
It’s a snow day at Jujutsu Tech. Kento plans to spend his day off studying.
His senpai, Suguru, decides to spend the day studying him.

As a result, their parents also do not know about the phantom realm yet and they're still trying to drive to Savannah.

Se-hyun knows what Ga-min was referring to. It’s what got them here in the first place. Se-hyun was hit in the face, the pain from the hit was blooming under his skin. The next thing he knew he was stumbling back on the floor. When he blinks up, Ga-min was already standing in front of him like some sort of bodyguard, his glasses being pushed into his pocket before balling his fist up at his side.
Or, Ga-min protects Se-hyun and gets hurt in the process. At least he has Se-hyun to fix him up.
