Arthur, Merlin, Gwen, Morgana, and Gwaine are comfortably filling up a booth near the back of the establishment. Conversation is free-flowing, not too rowdy but still having full involvement from the group. They all got off work going on three hours ago, and they have been here ever since.

Arthur will probably look back on this day, and know that it was the turning point. If Lance had not happened into the same pub that Merlin and Arthur were at, then who knows how much longer Arthur would have gone without realizing his full sense of self. Maybe it would have gone on in perpetuity. However, Lance did go to the Slumbering Dragon, and Merlin did bring him to join the group.After meeting Lance, Arthur begins to start asking himself questions. Everything changes after that, but some of the best parts will stay the same.
