this is so well written that it genuinely makes me feel like shit. and that’s a positive in this case because the amount of times I just stared slack-jaw at my screen at certain points. Like how are you gonna be so good at exploring a character’s turmoil so well in A PIKMIN FIC. 10/10

Summary
Captain Olimar is trying to return home before his third child is born. An unexpected meteor throws a serious wrench in his plans. Now he's stranded on an alien planet with a broken ship. To complicate matters, he's the one currently pregnant with his about-to-be-born third child.
Luckily, the planet Olimar crashed on is home to an alien species that seems eager to help him repair his ship. But the clock is ticking towards both the baby's due date and the failure of his life support, and the planet is full of many other dangers. Will the Pikmin's help be enough to get him home before it's too late?

Is Olimar destined to be in a constant loop of suffering and loneliness, or will he find peace with himself and his unfortunate circumstances?
Although, contrary to what he believes, he’s not alone in this.

Olimar's Alimony was a CYOA-style story written by Crimson_Squid on GameFaqs's Super Smash Brothers Ultimate board that spanned from 11/21/2018 to 3/12/2023. The purpose of this piece, with Crimson_Squid's permission, is to condense every update post and selected option for both archival and re-readability purposes.
Olimar's Alimony primarily follows Olimar, beginning with an argument with his wife over the phone in which divorce is threatened. While the story starts out fairly whimsical and spontaneous, it soon develops a huge, overarching narrative and juggles many different worlds and characters from series in the Super Smash Brothers games. Allies are collected, deaths occur, and events happen based on the options selected by the CYOA participants.

Remember than infamously bad Harry potter fanfic my immortal? remember how funny it was? I thought it was hilarious too, so over the course of three days, I edited, censored, and replaced words to make it pikminified, same stupid story, new stupid characters!
I would suggest you read the entirety of the original my immortal before reading this as it won't make sense if you don't, but maybe this fic is best enjoyed nonsensically, so do what you want.
