Summary
Ghosts walk the Earth. The only reason Bucky Barnes knows this is because he can communicate with them. While that sounds like the coolest superpower in the world, Bucky really doesn't appreciate this God-given talent:
1. Having the ability to talk to spirits, apparently makes you the sole human on the Earth qualified enough to help the invisible bastards cross the Rainbow Bridge to Paradise.
2. Ghost Keeping is a boring job that puts a damper on one's social life. Good thing Bucky had his own ghost roommates to hang out with on slow days...Suffice to say, Bucky's life sucked. The only bright side was Steve Rogers, the hot doctor that saved his life twice, and somehow had the worst judgement in the world, sharing in his mutual feelings of attraction. Did they make an odd couple? Yeah... but Bucky certainly wasn't going to complain about that.
But when Bucky and Steve are suddenly faced with an epidemic stemming from the wrath of a seriously disgruntled spectre out for revenge, quite suddenly Ghost Keeping isn't so simple anymore. And when Steve's life is suddenly placed on the line in this spectre's rampage, it's up to Bucky to solve the mystery and send him down the Highway to Hell.

Summary
Modern Winter Soldier AU where Bucky is a genie who became HYDRA's Asset.
When HYDRA found the Tesseract they also found a genie in a bottle. Knowing a genie's wishes are a trap that will turn and bite you, they used the power of the Tesseract to enslave the genie. It cost them three wishes but it bought them an Asset with power greater than any human and for 70 years they used him to work HYDRA's will on the world.
Until they lost him.
His bottle washes up on a beach and he's found by a new Master, Steve Rogers. Steve, horrified at having absolute power over someone, has a very different approach to being in control of a genie. While Bucky waits for his new Master to show his true colours they're trying to work out how to live with each other. Bucky doesn't trust Steve, Steve's friends don't trust Bucky, and no one realises HYDRA has not let their Asset go so easily.

During that time, he is forced to deal with bad therapists, people with their own agendas, memories he doesn’t want, horrible losses from his past and almost insurmountable odds.
But this is also the story of all the crazy people Bucky meets along the way, who help him when he’s at his lowest, point him in the right direction when he feels lost, make him laugh, grow to love him for who he is, and most importantly, give him hope when he needs it most.
It’s a long and difficult journey, as Bucky works not just to let go of his past, but to also rebuild his own identity and a future for himself. And with Sarge at his side, Bucky slowly comes to realize that not everything he once loved is lost, and if he can just have enough faith in himself and those around him, he might, just might, get his very own happy ending.
Bucky IS Sarge’s person after all. As the once abandoned puppy Bucky saved one night from freezing to death, he knows, more than anyone, just how much Bucky deserves it.

Summary
Contrary to what most people assume, Steve likes the twenty-first century. True, it’s taken some getting used to and there have definitely been challenges; namely the public’s fascination with his personal life, folks more interested in Captain America than Steve as a person, and his teams’ endless attempts at setting him up with someone, no matter how many times he tells them to stop. Aside from that, Steve thinks he’s done OK adapting to this new world, and is nowhere near as old fashioned as most think. Except for one thing, a secret longing he’s had from back when he was poor, small and seldom given a second glance; having a professional matchmaker help him find his dreamed for omega, a partner to share den with and who would invite him into their Nest. But they no longer exist. Or so he thinks. Until a stroke of good fortune brings him into contact with Judith Bergmann, who introduces him to an omega named Bucky Barnes.
Told in five parts, what follows is a slow courtship filled with plenty of obstacles, and threats big and small, but also letters, food, laughter, pedicures, lace panties, Pop Tarts, Steve displaying his colors, two ball busting dogs, a feline terrorist, and most importantly, love.

Summary
In 1945 Steve Rogers crashed the Valkyrie into the Arctic Ocean and was never recovered.
In 2019 Bucky Barnes is walking along the beach below the decommissioned lighthouse where he lives with his sixteen month old daughter when he finds the body of a man washed up in the surf, half frozen but miraculously alive.
Bucky manages to revive him, but finds that the stranger has no memory of who he is or how he got here aside from a name: Steve. Snowed in by a blizzard soon after and unable to get Steve a medevac, Bucky discovers that the funny, good-hearted man slips into the fabric of his and Alice’s life faster than he would have thought possible. The two are undeniably drawn to each other, but as their feelings grow so does the looming possibility that the answer to the question “who is Steve?” might be much more complicated than either of them realized.

To top it all off, lucky in love is just not a term used to describe him.
Amnesiac, though? That’s apt.
Or the one where Bucky is a journalist missing the first thirty years of his life. Captain America is straight up in love with his dead doppelganger. And the US government has been infiltrated by a secret organization hell bent on world domination.

Summary
Their rivalry begins like this: they’re teenagers, skating the same circuits, competing in the same competitions. What happens is that they compete against each other for the novice boy’s title in the North Atlantic Regional Figure Skating Competition and they both somehow tie for first place. There are no ties in competition, but their scores are identical across the board.
Steve hates that Bucky took his win from him and Bucky hates that Steve thinks he won instead of tying, like the results said. The ensuing verbal scuffle had cemented what would come to be a slightly unhealthy long-term skating rivalry.
The intervening years don't help.

Perennial rivals since childhood, Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes face off against each other to achieve their Olympic figure skating dreams. But when bad luck and bad falls get in their way, Steve realizes there might only be one way to make it to Wakanda after all.
It's reckless and it's definitely incredibly stupid, but to win Olympic gold, these two enemies will need to come together as a pair--on the ice and off.
