Summary
Hux has never been too proud to fight dirty. He’ll use whichever weapon’s at hand to guarantee victory even if it blasts off his own foot in the process, and he’ll curl his lip just so as he does so his enemies know exactly what he thinks of them. Ren will bleed the Order dry if he’s left unchecked, so Hux will put it out of its misery first. He’ll make sure Ren goes down with it. He knows exactly which weapon will sting the most.
Hux sets out to ruin what’s been stolen from him with the most destructive tool he knows. Like most things involving the Resistance, nothing quite goes to plan.

‘You're late. I was expecting you 30 standard minutes ago,’ said General Armitage Hux as Poe took up a position in front of his desk and casually saluted.
‘Got held up, babe,’ Poe said, smirking.
Hux's barely perceptible smile vanished. He interlaced his fingers and rested his chin on his index fingers. An eyebrow lifted. ‘What did you just call me?’
Poe strolled over to Hux's table until he could lean his hip against it. ‘I said,’ Poe mirrored Hux's raised brow, ‘I was delayed, babe. But don't worry. Now I'm here to take care of your every need, hm.’
Hux slid back a little with his chair and nodded to the floor beside him. ‘Immediately to me and kneel,’ he said, calmly and controlled.
Poe moved as if he were obediently trying to circle the table, but halfway there, he stopped and even took a step back. ‘No.’
‘That wasn't a request.’
‘I don’t care what it was.’ Poe shrugged. Then he opened his arms invitingly. ‘Come and get me if you dare, oh mighty General Hugs.’or: Poe decides to change the game Hux and he are playing.
