Only when his quirk suddenly bursts into something of pure horror, something more than the word freak, Izuku wishes he swallowed those words.
Four year old Izuku feared the beasts bellow his mattress. He feared the monsters his mother tried to say didn’t exist.

UA was a very progressive school - thinking ahead in the world of heroics.
That was what lead to the invention of the infamous class A - a group of delinquents, there to stop them from becoming something more. Why raise an army of heroes - when you could stop the threat before it starts?
However, no matter what - there would always be villains out there. And some kids were beyond saving, even by class A's teacher, the legend that was Shouta Aizawa - who had managed to turn around the entirety of last year's class 1-A.
But, this year's class was different.
Another dose of insanity, Quirk difficulties and family problems, yes - but they were more than that. They were 20 kids with potential - more than Aizawa had ever seen before. And society had just turned a blind eye to them; left them in the gutters.
That was why, with gritted teeth and a manic smile, Eraser Head turned to his new class of students and said:
"You aren't villains - you never were and you never will be. But you take that fire inside of you - and put it to good use. We're in a hero school, aren't we? Well then..."Let's be heroes."

Summary
Katsuki tried to move again, but it was useless. Too much weight pinning him down. If he used his quirk to blow the rubble up, he could end up aggravating the fragile building and making it collapse further. He remembered his friends were down there, on the first floor, and maybe Kirishima was there too. He didn’t want to accidentally make more rubble fall on the top of them.
The thought made a shiver run down his spine, and he trembled. Fuck. This was supposed to be a fun day out. A hang out session between friends who missed each other and wanted to have some time off before school started again. This wasn’t supposed to be a disaster.
Alternatively, class 1-A is caught in a building collapse, and Katsuki and Izuku end up stuck together.
