utterly beautiful. lovely imagery and turns of phrase. apt and painful portrayal of inferiority complexes born from careless cruelty. lovely, endearing and frustrating characterization that made them appear vividly in mind's eye. the writing was a delight. her small spelling mistakes showing that she'd worked hard to learn and to retain the knowledge, however short or lacking her schooling was? that stings. Incredibly out of her depth, she has to navigate the old nation’s dangerous climate without becoming ensconced within their politics – a feat easier said than done, for a clan-less kunoichi.
It's just her luck that the Uchiha start sprouting from the woodwork. It seems she can't escape them, no matter what century she's in.
