Summary
Cas is in town to deal with the fledgling unionization that's taking place at the factory. It should be a cut-and-dried case. There shouldn't be any need to return. Definitely not to a dingy diner for a man who's married.
But Dean's husband is awful and Dean is the first person in a long, long time that Cas has wanted to let in.
So once Dean expresses interest, Cas finds his sense of decency crumbling. Even more so when Dean's carefree facade starts cracking whenever the two of them are alone.

Summary

This is a mini story for my verse Wander Home. Wander Home is a verse set in a vaguely medieval setting, with historical accuracy that depends on how much research I feel like doing that day. It is a hurt/comfort Destiel verse, with an autistic Cas and severely abused Dean finding each other and helping each other survive and heal.
At the beginning of this series, Cas is 16, and Dean is 14. References to underage prostitution and non-con happen throughout the stories because of Dean's past, but nothing sexual will be happening between the two characters themselves.
This fic is set AFTER the conclusion of The Outside, so it contains vague spoilers for how that story ends.

Summary
Dean Winchester didn't ask for this. Sure, he tries to use his alpha privilege (and hefty bank account balance) to do some good in the world. He works with Bobby, Ellen, and Jody at The Roadhouse, a centre for rescued omegas, but even there, he stays behind the scenes. He pays the bills and helps maintain the property, but other than that, he tries to keep his fingers out of any pies that aren't intended for his cakehole.
That is, until one day when Charlie informs him of one of the worst abuse cases they've ever seen, and tells him that they need to act now if they want to save the guy's life.
Dean's got no problem approving the intake, but then Charlie drops the other shoe like it's hot: The Roadhouse is at capacity and there's simply nowhere for the poor omega to go, but word on the street is that Dean's got a empty guest room, and wasn't he just saying that the house was too quiet since Sam moved out, anyway?
This is a story of hurt and healing, secret identities, righting old wrongs, and finding light on even the darkest of days.

Summary

He’s alone, scared, and developmentally behind, childlike and not even able to read when he’s thrown out on his ass as a teenager. By the time he’s 27 he’s no better off and more damaged than ever, homeless and working on the street. He tries to be happy, childlike mind clinging to hope, but he’s tired. He waits for an angel.
Castiel is an alpha who’s recently experienced a fall from grace after falling into a psychotic episode at work and attacking a man while on duty. He’s lost his job and now works nights at a run down gas station, living paycheck to paycheck and preparing to go before the board to plea his case for why his credentials shouldn’t be taken away. He’s going to get his life back together, there’s only one problem. Castiel believes he’s God-like, a twisted angel of justice, and takes that belief to violent extremes.
