Every bone in Tims body was screaming at him to stay home, to convince Jay that this wasn't worth it. That it was dumb, and pointless, and dangerous, and they were better off just staying in the 'comfort' of their own homes.

Casey's dad laughed at him, leaning over and losing his balance. He almost joined Casey on the dirty floor, but he slammed into a wall, managing to use it to prop himself up, panting heavily.
“You ungrateful brat! Get outta my house, before I beat yer ass so hard you're broken and bloody.” His dad slurred, sinking down against the walls as he took a large swig out of the bottle he was holding.
