He’s going to kill me.
The thought doesn’t come to Jason in a sudden wave of panic or in a somber, sullen moment of realization. It’s just a fact. There’s no point in dragging this out any longer. He’s been here three days, nobody knows where he is, and he’s shackled to the dilapidated wall of an abandoned building. It’s cyclical. The Red Hood dies mirroring the way he was born.
Tim Drake dies alone in the empty halls of Titans Tower. However, his torment does not end there. Brought back to the living, and left to suffer a new kind of hell, he realizes a painful truth: Death is not always the worst thing; sometimes resurrections are worse.

“Did you know I have a perfect record?” The villain collects a rusted pocket knife, tracing it up Peter’s arm, over his shoulders, down to his collarbone, as though considering where to cut. Peter focuses on controlling his breathing, fear twisting awfully in his belly. “You may look down on me, Mr. Spider-Man, but for all the righteous suffering I inflict, I’ve never hurt a child. Not once.”
“Y'know, I don’t think you do,” Peter blurts. At his words, Deadpool's stare intensifies. “Have a perfect, non-child harming record, that is.”

Jason didn’t say anything, once again. He was absolutely gobsmacked. Hello? Maybe he should have read that file when he had the chance. Instead, he just assumed that Tim’s Robin story was the same as everyone else's; Bruce sees a kid, Bruce thinks about the kid benign Robin, Bruce brings the kid to the Batcave and trains them, and then the kid becomes Robin. Never in a million years did Jason consider this Robin story to even be a possibility. But here he was, staring at the kid who had done it. Who blackmails Batman?! Was he insane?!

The child assassin moved into a defensive stance, his weight perfectly distributed, bo staff snapping out. He was calm, there was no tension, no panic at facing off three men way older and heavier than him.

Dinah perked up from where she was slumped against the table next to Oliver. “That’s next to Gotham. Batman, what do you know?”
All eyes immediately turned to where Batman sat with his arms crossed, looking impassive as always. There was a long moment of silence and the corners of Batman’s mouth turned ever so slightly downward. Finally, in a flat tone of voice that gave no more away than his face ever did, he said, “He’s… well trained. Fast. Could be useful.”

Also known as, the League eventually figured out that Nightwing is Batman's son, but it takes a while.

Another buzz comes in as Jason is double checking the daggers shoved into his boots. And then another. And another. It’s incessant. With a huff, Jason opens the phone back up to idly stroll through the stream of Dick’s inconsistently punctuated texts.

Well, he seems a little distressed.
Jason scrolls back up to the top of the chat, ignoring Dick’s incoming messages to take a closer look at the inciting image. It’s blurry and dark. Jason has to hold the phone ridiculously close to his face just to make it out. A green-gloved hand gives a thumbs-up over a piece of wet pavement. Jason squints closer. It’s not just wet. It’s a deep, slick red.
Cool. Whose blood is that? Jason asks. Dick’s response is immediate: NOT HELPING JAY.
