She should have gotten more. “There’s talk about someone falling from the sphere again.” The other two raised silent eyebrows and she shrugged at the unasked questions. “Dunno. I believe some traffickers claim they found a Sphereite, alive, apparently.”
Zanka scoffed. “Sounds pretty fake if you ask me. Probably just want to squeeze money out of people and end up giving them a skeleton they found in No Man’s Land. Who survives a fall from the sky?”
Riyo shrugged again. “It’s just rumors.”
Enjin rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “I like rumors,” he said. “Should probably go check it out.”

Crowe could not unsee the picture of Nyx being flung away like he weighed absolutely nothing. He had gone flying faster than a human being should. The sound of him crashing into a wall at that speed, seeing him drop like a limb rag doll cut from its strings and not moving… Crowe wasn’t sure if her brain had imagined the noise of bones snapping but it had made her sick to her stomach. She had screamed his name but he had just laid there motionlessly, none of them knowing if he was even still alive.
Nyx gets badly hurt on a mission gone sideways and the Glaives try to get him back to Insomnia without any backup. It doesn't help that Nyx barely remembers anything and both his health and his consciousness are constantly hanging by a thread.

Libertus blinked several times to clear both his head and his vision, briefly wondering what had woken him up when he registered several things at once. Nyx was still draped over him, in a slightly different position but his face was against his neck underneath his chin and his warm breath tickled his skin. He was also making faint noises and huffing a little. The reason why became very obvious when Libertus realized Nyx’s legs were around one of his own and he was faintly grinding his hips into his thigh.
