Summary
But his vision is blurred as he slides down onto concrete, he can’t hear the heavy boots land next to him because all he can feel is the panic in his blood. He wants to run again. Trembling against the wall as his right leg gives out–the one sporting a bullet wound-even if it wasn’t technically an actual metal bullet rather a rubber one. But it had been too close and Hood aimed it just right.

It was supposed to be an easy patrol, it should have been easy. But Tim's world come's crashing down as mind-controlled brothers break his heart and body. And he doesn't know how much more he can take.

Summary
Gotham was literally cursed but no one believed Bruce. He took it upon himself to fix it and after decades of searching, that solution came to him in the form of a little blue vial. Bruce was to take the curse within himself to temper it into something manageable.
He thinks the others would call him stupid and stop him if they knew about this, but (un)fortunately for Bruce, his family hasn't spoken to him for forever. There was no one here to stop him.
He downed the liquid and woke up as his nine-year-old self.
Ch3 Excerpt:
“Mother, do you remember those funny clouds above people’s heads I told you about? Well, I’m doing something about them but the process is very lonely. Or not. I think it’s just me. I’m the problem. I can’t seem to get people to like me enough to stay. I know–-… I’m aware that it’s due to my own shortcomings but sometimes, it feels like even the worst monsters have people that love them and yet I have no one.”
Bruce let out a humourless chuckle and rested his forehead on his knees.
“I just wish there was someone that cared about me.”

Tim is prepared to take the steps necessary to ensure that Bruce will not feel obligated to adopt Tim when a comatose Jack Drake inevitably dies. But what could be better than preventing Bruce from ending up with a son he doesn't want? Bringing back the one he does.
Jason agrees to the Replacement's stupid, stupid plan to invite some strange adult man he's never met to come live with him, if only to keep the idiot alive long enough for him to serve his purpose in the Great Red Hood Revenge Scheme.

He thought he had more time. He thought the shit he pulled across all of Ra’s bases and his takeover of WE would be enough to keep him occupied until Tim could think again. It’s only been four months. That’s too soon. That’s way too soon. Tim couldn’t face him again so soon—
-Ra’s is planning to make an appearance in Gotham soon.
-Stay safe.----
Ra's had far more nefarious motivations for bringing Tim to Nanda Parbat. Unfortunately, Tim neglected to tell his family exactly what Ra's did to him.

“He thought he knew all pains, he was wrong.
His breaths came out short. Panting through the thoughts melting into each other. No matter how he shifted, the hurt sharpened itself, screeching through his body. He long wished to ignore it, but there was something so intimate about it that he couldn’t.””
Laying in his bed after experiencing a violating assault, Damian can’t find it within himself to act brave. Unable to be strong any longer, he finds himself calling for his father.
His father, who would let the universe burn if it meant that his youngest was safe in his arms.

The guy looked between them, incredulously. “This is my fucking house, dipshit.”
Dick’s jaw fell open. “Bruce?”
He was younger than Dick had ever seen him in person. Doing the math in his head, the Bruce before him would have been about nineteen. His hair was long and greasy, almost brushing his shoulders. Choppy bangs laid across his forehead and kept falling into his eyes. He was so pale. Even for Bruce. His cheeks were sunken in and the bags under his eyes were so dark they could have been bruises.
“No way,” Jason gibed. “This skinny rat is Bruce?”
Bruce scowled. “Who’re y'calling a rat, ya' fuckin' jagoff?”
“What the fuck did you just call me?”
-- -- --
Jason and Dick find themselves eleven years in the past. They thought their night could not get any worse. Until they make contact with a Bruce that seems to be in an even worse position than them.

Tim's parents faked their deaths and fled the country years ago, but neglected to take him with them. He spent some time on the streets, and now at 16, he makes a living as a fortune teller, stalking and hustling the shit out of Gotham's elite by telling them eerily accurate fortunes based on the information he gathers about them.
His life is peculiar but he wouldn't change a thing. When he gets booked for the big Wayne Halloween party, however, he finds himself getting all tangled up with the Waynes, and the more fortunes he tells, the tighter the snare becomes.or: Tim just wanted to scam Gotham's elite, not end up on the Batfamily's watchlist. But it seems they just won't leave him alone..

He was too light. Dick would have thought he were closer to six if he didn't know better. But he'd seen those eyes before. They were the same eyes that used to stare back at him in the mirror.
Behind all the fear and confusion, was pure unimaginable grief. A stray tear fell down the boy's cheek, and Dick felt a sudden wave of protectiveness hit him. Bruce had saved him, but even now he was still so full of grief and pain. The situation was terrible, but maybe, he could save Bruce too.

Summary
You grow into the person who would’ve protected you as a child.
Alfred finds himself left with a little boy to care for. Not just any boy, but a Wayne, destined for greatness like his parents. He does his best to raise him, and it hurts his heart - really it does - but sometimes that means discipline.
Bruce knows he’s not good. Well aware that he deserved what Alfred gave him when he was a child. But now that he has children of his own, Bruce can’t fathom disciplining them like he was. That doesn’t mean Alfred was wrong to inflict those punishments on Bruce. Bruce deserved it. Just not his kids.
Never his kids.
