Jake took a deep breath. Beside him, Spider had started laughing to himself, displaying his rotten teeth and Jake felt sick again to see how bad Spider’s physical state was.
“No.”
No, Spider was not going to be ok. And there was a high chance he might never be ok again. But one thing was certain, he wasn’t going to abandon him a second time.

But someone had to ensure Gotham's rightful protector didn't fall apart after Jason's death. So Tim did what needed to be done and became Robin.
And minus a brief break when he was 16 he's been Robin for 6 years. But having successfully ensured that the Justice League could bring Bruce back he was ready to leave the mantle behind. Besides, with Damian as Robin now he's not needed.
It's time to go back to where he belonged. It's time to go back to being Stray.

The other League members don't know this is a problem because they have no idea Batman has kids, much less that Nightwing is one of them. Bruce decides to do the only reasonable thing: go on vacation. His children probably won't burn down anything too important.
Dick just wants to defend his family and brag about his siblings. Good thing his father taught him a few things about the importance of detailed plans and talented allies.

Neil Josten comes to exist much later than originally intended. When Nathaniel Wesninski is 6 his mother takes him in the middle of the night. They run for months until Nathan catches them. Nathaniel is handed to Tetsuji Moriyama on his 7th birthday. This is his life after growing up in the Nest, saving his brothers, and finally finding a place to belong.
The real question is, will he live long enough to see it?
“He knew serving his time in the Nest was for the greater good of Jean and Kevin's safety, but that doesn’t mean he felt any better about having to do it. Regardless of his feelings, he would do anything for the two of them. If any of them were meant to make it, it would be Jean and Kevin seeing as Nathaniel had no use for anything anymore but to obey the demands of the Moriyamas. Employed by Ichirou and owned by the main branch, he has no other option.“

Summary
Peter didn’t know what he expected when Doctor Strange did the final spell above the Statue of Liberty (after all, it was hard to imagine a life where his girlfriend and best friend didn’t know him), but it certainly wasn’t to be sent to a whole different universe in a vastly different city with entirely different heroes and vigilantes. He also wasn’t expecting to find an alternate universe version of his biological dad still alive, either, but apparently this was his life now. Whether this was a good or bad thing was still up for debate.
OR, Peter Parker gets sent to Gotham City in one last attempt by Doctor Strange to keep the multiverse from destroying New York City. The events that follow are interesting, to say the least.

Summary
Spider can't say he's having the best time with the Metkayina people. It's entirely just him though, it didn't feel right to be with them all. Not after what he's done. It felt wrong to walk along the bouncy walkways and see everyone look on at him, curious but not in disgust. Admittedly he doesn't know which was worse to receive.
His new family show him what it's like to truly be cared for and seen.
