Alex's personal morals have never been up for debate.

“Don’t do that, please.” Henry chuckled. “Pip might be stupid, but his not that stupid.” the brothers locked eyes and they both smiled at each other.
“Okay, I clearly missed something big here, ‘cuz if my eyes and ears are not lying, the two of you just smiled at each other and you just called Philip ‘Pip’.” Bea said.
Or, Henry told Alex to leave that night and the next morning Philip found his brother crying in his room and he tries to help.
