Summary
The cry sounds again, and Arthur’s feet freeze, a chill sliding down his spine. There’s something hauntingly familiar about the cadence of the sound.
It’s not quite the same, but Arthur just knows. It’s impossible, but he knows.
He draws Excalibur now, quickening his pace, but his feet are light.
Minutes later, there it is:
A white dragon- a living, breathing dragon roughly the size of a stallion, crouched in front of a cave. One of its wings is held at an odd angle, and unlike the giant monstrosity that once terrorized Camelot, this one looks gaunt and weak.
Or: In a handwavey canon divergence where Arthur knows about Merlin's magic and Aithusa escapes captivity, there are two men and a young dragon.

Now, it’s Pran’s first birthday in Singapore, and Pran is having a harder time than he expected.
Pat had video called him first thing in the morning, still looking like he was still waking up, to wish Pran a happy birthday. Pran had been distracted by just looking at Pat’s features, the sound of his sleep-rough voice, that he nearly missed the look of stress and displeasure growing on Pat’s face.
It ended up that Ming had planned a meeting with Pat shortly before Pat and Pran had a planned virtual birthday date and had only texted Pat to let him know before Pat had called Pran.

Summary
A hand grasped his arm, sending a brief thrill down Merlin's nerves as he was forced around to face the person behind him. Armour gleamed in the firelight: supple chainmail glinted, and the solid iron of a pauldron curved lovingly over one broad shoulder. The length of a sword blade separated them. The point hovered, steady and sure, over Merlin's heart, braced to run him through, but he did not care about any of that. He was too busy drinking in the sight of the man before him.
He could never forget him, no matter how many centuries had passed.
'Arthur?'
When Merlin ultimately fails in his destiny, the fading remnants of magic that linger in the modern world fling him not just back in time, but sideways as well. He ends up in a Camelot where all his friends are alive, well and aware of his magic.
