Summary
After being stabbed and the world around him collapsed, the Archivist wakes up somewhere familiar but alone. Without his Martin to help him, the Archivist plans to prevent the fears from harming the original crew on his own. He'll do what he needs to protect them, no matter the cost.
In other words, what if Jon was sent back to before season one, but without Martin?

Summary
Jonathan Sims, to say the least, was an unlikeable person. Even as a child, he found it hard to make any real connections with people, much less those his age. He didn’t need to be told how much people disliked being around him when he was younger and for good reason. He talked over people, didn’t understand when people were mad at him, was rude at times and very picky. Or simplily; unlikeable.

“Why are you saying sorry? You’re allowed to not feel comfortable about things, Jon. You’re allowed to have fears,” Jon smiles for barely even a moment.
“They’re not fears, Martin. I just don’t like … that stuff,” Jon barely can even say the words anymore, already being able to picture more of the deformed woman just at the thought of saying it. His skin crawls as he feels a shiver run down his entire body uncomfortably.
Jon doesn't really like the creepy-crawly statements and Martin's here to lift him up.

“… yeah.” Jon looks down at his arm. The mark is fading fast, it was only a joke after all. He’s been silly.
“Ok. Let’s do this properly then.” Georgie scoots closer to him and takes his face in her hands. “Didn’t think you were the vampire type, Mr. Sims,” she lowers her voice, still teasing, but a little daring now, full of promise.
