BB-8’s rapid, worried beeping drew her back to the droid again. It's beeping had slowed down at this point and Rey could finally understand him. He thought Ben was attacking Poe. Kriff, she was going to have to explain gay sex to a droid.
“Um, BB, I think you have it wrong,” began Rey as gently as she could, not wanting to upset the droid further. “Ben and Poe aren’t fighting, they-”
BB-8 let out another series of disgruntled beep and whistles, refuting her claim. She nearly groaned. Why didn’t Poe just kick BB-8 out before they started this time? Kriff, she was going to kill them for putting her in this position.
“I know what you saw, BB, but sometimes things aren't always what they look like,” tried Rey hopefully, punching the bridge of her nose. Fuck Ben and Poe and their libidos. They were going to owe her big for this. Big.

Summary
An alternate world where Iroh leads a coup against Ozai on the eclipse and wins the throne for Zuko. The southern water tribe hadn't sent men to fight in thirty years, instead protecting their home, laying traps, using guerilla tactics so the fire nation gave up fighting them.
Sokka and Katara found Aang, but being frozen in ice for a hundred years has ramifications and for almost four years the tribe focuses on healing the avatar.
Zuko is advised for continued peace to have an arranged marriage outside the fire nation. The best option is a the child of the chief of the southern tribe. Katara is in love with Aang and is heartbroken, but will do her duty for her people. Sokka finds a loophole that they can carefully and craftily exploit.
Aka they lie. They lie so hard and Sokka becomes the one betrothed to Fire Lord Zuko. He is sure there will be no consequences to the plan. Certainly not going to fall in love with the man he is lying to. At all. Nope indeedy, no love on the menu. Dang it.

It’s true they’ve managed two conversations, during which information has certainly been exchanged, but Aziraphale has found them bizarre, uncomfortable affairs. Outside their conversations Aziraphale is rather under the impression Crowley is waiting for him to make a mistake. He often catches the man staring intensely at him across the room, as if expecting him to trip over his own shoelaces or spill his drink down his own jacket.
He doesn't like Crowley and Crowley doesn't like him. Right? Azirpahale can't possibly have got that one wrong.

Summary
Sokka takes a strategic step back, but he also smiles: triumphant, like he baited Zuko into exactly what he wanted. Like it’s a challenge. It’s the same way he looked when they sized each other up at the prison, with Sokka in chains that left red marks around his wrist, in tattered prison garb, malnourished and angry. Back then, that was Sokka saying: I see your power. I see you. Now, see me.
Zuko saw him then. And he sees him now; different, but the same. I see you.
Zuko lights his daos in flame. Sokka grins, back to gravel and heat. “Come on, Fire Lord. Impress me.”
Zuko burns. His vision flickers with fire. His heart races. His blood sings. His body is like a magnet, pulling ever onward to meet Sokka’s. He advances.
He pins Sokka to the wall, blades against his throat.
Or, Zuko found Aang first, Sokka and Katara were imprisoned in Boiling Rock for trying to rescue their dad, and all Sokka knows is he's pretty sure he's not supposed to think the Fire Lord is attractive but he's never let things like rules stop him before.
