Far beyond earth's orbit, deep into the cosmos and into the vast expanse of our solar system, rests a city built amongst the stars. It’s neon glow and streets of gilded chrome lure in many with its light; much akin to the creatures deep down within the depths of the ocean– where sunlight fails to warm the waters, and the bones of wales decorate the barren, sandy floor. It exists as a flicker in the dark; a glimmer of hope within the ever expanding void. But the moment you approach, a gaping maw opens wide, swallowing you whole. You are now another victim amongst countless others.
VIRA was to be a staple– the pinnacle of human innovation. It was a project that was supposed to propel humanity into a new golden age, where science and innovation could thrive without the intervention of worldly laws and politics. A utopia of sorts.
Only fools believe in utopias.
There are parts of VIRA that many do not come back from. And in those seedy back alleys and hidden nooks, death is a mercy compared to what happens to you in reality.
VIRA is no sanctuary. Woe be to all who seek it within its walls.

Summary
The Blue Palace was quiet that night.
Falk Firebeard was no stranger to the silence that often followed tense court proceedings. General Tullius had just gone back to Castle Dour, and Lady Elisif long since retreated to her quarters for the night. Although the silence wasn’t unusual, the tension in the air was sharper than a mountain wind. Tullius’ lip was pursed tightly as he stormed out the palace doors with thunder in his boots. Lady Elisif, on the other hand, wore a soft, downcast expression that was invisible to most, yet obvious to someone who had known her as long as Falk.
While propriety and rules had held him back this long, something deep inside him ached to go after her.
It was a terrible idea, but he couldn't bring himself to care.

Summary
Creatures of the night had stalked the badlands of New Mexico for centuries, long before its borders were drawn, long before man set foot on its dusty barren floor. It was infested with predators of all kinds, coyotes, serpents, and scorpions. But none, were as notorious as the wretched Vampire.
They were the epitome of the corruption of man. Sin and indulgence didn't pollute their veins, it was infused within them. They were greedy, lustful, and murderous, with an insatiable thirst for blood that no other substance could satisfy. They ate like no man, they ate like an animal, with flesh being their only source of nutrients. Some saw them as unfortunate souls to be put down with mercy, as you would a rabid dog. Others saw them as soulless killers, with nothing but bloodlust behind those piercing red eyes.
Vampires had been around since people have, but none were as notorious as the one stalking the small town of Teufort. People were going missing, only to turn up days later with their body mutilated beyond recognition, and strangely human looking bite marks embedded in their skin. Fortunately, one man took up the mantle, and devoted himself to eradicating every single one.

Autumn Pines is a quiet little town, residing up in the northwest pine forests of Washington State. It's small, but it's got charm, with a small harbor along the coast, and beautiful lush forests decorating the rest of the mainland. The scenery is beautiful, and the sights are certainly ones to see, even if they are small to most others. Autumn Pines is home to many types of people, and it's certainly the home of a certain group of four.

The monitor on his ankle was a leaded weight that was getting harder to ignore by the minute. Cole had run away from two foster homes and a group home at this point, as well as having a history of self harming and an attempt, so it was understandable that he would be sent to a high risk group home. Though, the people he talked to hadn’t called it a group home. They called it a ‘monastery.’
