Summary
Tim has always had a weird relationship with birthdays.
On his 6th birthday, it took till dinner for his father to remember what date it was.
A few months after his 9th birthday, Tim saw a clip of Robin doing a move that looked really, really familiar, leading to him realising who exactly Gotham's protectors were under their masks.
On his 10th birthday, Tim bought himself a cupcake, stuck a candle in it and tried his best not to crumble under the grief of his parents not being in Gotham for his birthday again.
Tim spent his 11th and 12th birthdays much the same. Then Robin died.
By the time his 13th birthday rolled around, he wasn’t just Tim Drake anymore. He was Robin. It changed everything, and yet nothing at all.
Tim found out around his 14th birthday that there was finally someone who wanted to do something with him for his birthday - one Dick Grayson.
A week before his 15th birthday, Red Hood broke into Titans Tower, leaving Tim to spend his birthday in bed, wrapped in bandages, splints and casts.

"Did you see?" says Dick, and he lets go of Tim's shoulders to take him by the arm, tugging him toward the kitchen instead of the Batcave. "Alfred made cookies."
"Think he's trying to lure you in," says Tim, with a huff of a laugh. "Like one of those traps they bait for raccoons."
"Raccoons are too smart for that, baby bird," says Dick, blithely, and swipes up one of the bait-cookies anyway, biting into it with an appreciative little hum.
Tim finds somewhere else to look — fixes his gaze on a spot on the far wall, trying hard to ignore the way the kitchen smells of cinnamon and nutmeg and sugar. His stomach twists a little, hopeful, and he tells it firmly that these aren't for him. They're Dick's welcome-home cookies.

Summary
Of all the ways Arthur and the knights could've found out about his magic, Merlin hadn't thought it'd be due to a sparrow. There will be a happy ending, but it's gonna take a while.
"Arthur was terrified when he saw Merlin make up his mind to jump. He put on a burst of speed, willing his body to give everything he had so he could just-reach out and….He crashed at full speed into the warlock, knocking them both out of breath, but most importantly, far away from the edge of the ravine. Merlin fought him, kicking and clawing for escape, but it was clear that whatever had fueled him for so long was gone, and eventually the kicking and punching and shouting was gone, and Merlin wept in Arthur’s arms, trembling hard.
“Sorry, so sorry, so so sorry. ‘M so sorry, Arthur,” he sobbed desperately, and Arthur held him close, heart racing and eyes wet. “I’m so sorry, please don’t burn me. I’m so sorry. I didn’ mean to, I was born with it.” Merlin cried, and Arthur shushed him gently."
