Summary
The creature raises the weird knot-like tied seaweed mess towards Tommy, an even weirder hiss sound leaving its mouth. When Tommy does not take the seaweed ball, the monster chucks it, the ball falling onto the wood surface with a wet squelch. There is a fish in it. A huge, very much dead fish, bones sticking out of its sides.
Tommy can't stop the tears this time, all the stress finally breaking through the hard rock wall he had built throughout this whole journey his brothers had forced him into. Tommy sobs. "I don't want your fucking seaweed!"
The broom in his hands whips down, whacking the creature right in the face.

If you asked Phil before, he would only shrug at the mention of his wings. Now, as he stood atop the tall wall that held his new home, he regretted ever taking his wings for granted. He was deceived. His peaceful life in his own world was broken when he got that invite. A peaceful innocent invite to go on some train to a vacation island. Quesadilla island seemed so peaceful. Yet here he is, on this humongous wall that originally separated its inhabitants, with cut wings bandaged to his back.

Tommy pressed on the gas, the buildings and street lights becoming nothing but a colorful blur as he raced past them, a grin painted on his face. The engine thrummed beneath him, almost comforting as he sped past the brick buildings. It had been four months since Tommy had been in the driver's seat of a car, but he remembered everything. The mold of the steering wheel against his hand, the recline of his seat, the glint in his eye, reflected in the mirror, everything.
Tommy Innit has been street racing for months.
But finding time to race is hard when you’re a foster kid, and it’s even harder when you’re in the hospital for four weeks. So as soon as Tommy gets discharged, he’s itching to get back into the racing scene. Unfortunately, things are made a lot harder when he’s forced into a new family that wasn’t even expecting his arrival.
Wilbur hates him, Techno’s apathetic at best, and Phil cares way too much.
Tommy has his fair share of skeletons in his closet, and it seems like his old life is colliding into his new one, and it isn’t going to be pretty.

"I wont go down without a fight, Dream. I can take out two of you, and I can't promise if one of the two will be alive by the end of this." Thanatos said, Tommy could hear the change in tone. Once sarcastic and cocky, turned into cold and calculating.
"We're prepared to make that sacrifice." Dream said.
Now, Tommy has options here now that he's done with his sandwich. One, he could help Thanatos, maybe get capture or killed in the process which is a big no no. Two, he could help Dream, hopefully get a smaller sentence and not get thrown in pandora with Thanatos or even worse, share a cell with him. Or three, run away and probably die because the other members of the Syndicate definitely can see him on the news coverage, and something tells Tommy they wont be so happy if Thanatos dies or gets captured.
It all comes down to two major things, does he want to get on the heroes bad side, or the villains bad side. Personally, Tommy thinks the choice is easy, one kills more than the other.

Oh fuck. He’s coming back. Tommy curls up so none of his important organs are accessible, the guy has only strangled him up till now, but there was blood on the tarp, so maybe he likes to stab too. Tommy doesn’t want to be stabbed anywhere important.
Techno just sits on the other end of the couch and bounces his leg, mostly just looking at the fire, but occasionally glancing at Tommy.
“So, uh, you do anything interesting in school today?” he asks, Tommy would laugh at his awkwardness if he wasn’t so confused.
“I failed a math test,” he says. God he wishes he could go back to that being his biggest problem.

"How's your flat?" Wilbur asks. "Still no luck with the heating?"
"You know I can't afford it." Tommy mutters, stirring a spoon around in his cup of coffee.
"I could help you with it." Wilbur offers.
Tommy politely shakes his head. "No, don't worry about it. I don't plan to stay here much longer."
The way he says it, he thinks, might set off alarm bells in Wilbur's head. (Tommy prays that it does, prays to Prime that Wilbur notices his tone, notices his exhaustion and just asks him to go with him. He prays that Wilbur will care just enough to do something about it.)
Wilbur doesn't make any comment about it.
(Something inside Tommy cracks at that. Maybe this is it.)

Tommy's only 16, he shouldn't have all of these responsibilities. His landlord is shit, he doesn't get paid enough to afford groceries and he's so fucking tired. He just wants someone to see his struggles, he wants someone to care for once.

Summary
The royal family of Antarctic empire isn’t exactly close.
Emperor Philza is always occupied; Tommy hasn’t seen Techno in months, and even if Wilbur is here, their relationship can be described to be strained at best.
The royal family doesn’t need to be close, however, it only needs to be balanced, like the pillars holding the country above their heads – as long as they are strong and steady, the Empire will be too. It’s the principle that held Tommy’s back straight and his shoulders broad through the years of hardships and trials of errors; through yet another formal meeting where his father’s gaze would look past him and where his brother’s words would be filled with poison that makes the deepest parts of his soul ache.
At that time, Tommy couldn't know that his family would find a replacement for him in the face of a commoner boy named Ranboo.

“I don’t believe you for a second,” the villager said with a scoff. “Reviving the dead? You, a god? That’s the most preposterous thing I’ve heard in all my years.”
“Oh? You don’t believe me?” Dream smiled. “That’s okay, I’m more than willing to give you all a demonstration. Tommy,” he called, gesturing to the blond.
Tommy knew exactly what was going to happen, and he knew that there was no point in resisting, for it’d be over quicker if he gave up and went along with it (and if he struggled he’d really just be making a fool of himself). So he walked over to Dream, quietly, obediently, and stood facing the crowd. At least his death would be quick this time, he thought, as he shut his eyes and felt the cool of metal against his neck. One slash, and the world went dark.
Or: Tommy didn’t originally plan to hit the water when he jumped off the tower in Logsted, so he hit the ground instead. Dream decides that’s as good a time as any to test out the revival book, and upon succeeding, decides he’s a god and it’s high time he gained some followers.

Summary
Tommy remembers a time where he idolized the heroes on the screens. He remembers a time where his breath would fog up the glass on Christmas morning as he stared at a window with toys. Heroes monetized. Tommy hadn't thought much about it when he was little, when he had stars in his eyes with the hope that he'd crawl his way out of the slums.
It would've been better if Tommy had never existed in the first place.
Freefall was dead.
He should stop falling back on those habits.

Claws raked into his leg and across his chest, slicing through his armor like butter. He couldn’t reach the pistol at his side.

Monsters ravage the streets of L’Manberg. Tommy joins an elite group tasked with eradicating mobs and liberating the city once more. But years of effort yield nothing as monsters continue spawning and their numbers keep dwindling. The city Laboratory hides secrets of the origin of the mobs and, perhaps, the key to their defeat.
Time is running out, resources are running thin and there is no end to the monsters in sight. Each day is deadlier than the last. Amidst it all, Tommy refuses to give up hope of finding the family he lost at the beginning of the apocalypse. But with the rising stakes, will he survive long enough to find them again?

Summary
The Minecraft family was the most powerful and proudest hero family in the country. Philza, known by the public as Icarus, claimed third strongest hero with a proud smile. His eldest son Techno, known by the public as Phonoi, sits atop his throne of blood and bones as the crown of number 1 top hero rests on his head like a warning sign. Phonoi was the bloodiest hero in all of history, killing more villains than capturing, he was a favorite of most Vigilantes and other violence-crazed people. Between the two, resting contently at second place was Wilbur, known by the public as Psyche, he was simpler than both of them and was deemed the "hottest hero" by several magazines.
A hero family, perfect as can be.
A hero family. Who never left anyone behind.
What a terrible lie.
