Fresh off her first semester at the university on Bajor, Ziyal's returned to DS9 for a little R&R - and finds the reunion bittersweet. With the arrival of the Dominion, the station seems empty and lifeless compared to the hustle and bustle she remembers. It's sad, especially since she'd been so looking forward to coming home after the loneliness university had laid on her shoulders.
Enter Jake Sisko, the only Federation citizen left on the station and someone she's struck up a tentative pen-pal adjacent friendship with over the past few months. She's desperate for any feeling of normalcy, but she's acutely aware of the current political atmosphere, and that complicates things.

His friends are stunned and many do not know how to accept the relationship or the accusations. During this personal strife an Obsidian order/ Dominion plot to get rid of Garak while also taking out as many Federation ships as possible unfolds.

Jim and Spock have a lot of things in common, but what's perhaps the most significant of these commonalities is the fact that they're both waiting for their soulmate. Jim met his as a child, on Earth, and he knows they're Vulcan but he can't quite remember a face. Spock's never been to Earth.
This is a problem.
It's a problem because Spock's kinda falling in love with Jim, and Jim's kinda falling in love with Spock. They fit together like perfect little puzzle pieces. Why couldn't they be each other's soulmate? Why does everything make sense but that one little piece?
And then someone's murdered on the academy campus and Jim, ever curious, investigates.
And the memories came rushing back--memories that Jim's parents erased to protect him. He was on Tarsus IV. He survived the massacre, but now someone's come back to take out all of the survivors, and Jim might be next.

It’s July of 1969 and the entirety of the USA seemed to have space fever. That is, however, aside from James T Kirk, a very recent military school dropout who’s come back to his hometown to try and sort himself back out. When he encounters a wounded alien who’s crash-landed in the middle of a neighbouring farm, it’s a race against the clock, the US government, and the alien’s rapidly deteriorating health, to try and bring him back home.
Oh, and also their growing feelings for each other, but that's quite low on their shared priority list among the chaos of everything else.

A story told in part by two people who really should be doing something better with their time than hosting a conspiracy-based podcast episode on Kirk’s mysterious, possibly alien-related, disappearance.
