Though after an encounter with a golden-handed man she finds herself in the place, she had always wanted to be: Middle Earth. However, it's not as she remembers it. Magdalen must face cruel princes, stubborn kings, and duplicitous lords in order to figure out who she is and what her place in the story of Middle Earth is.

    6/10, desperately want to beta this as its very good, just has technical issues which is a personal peeve.
    addicting story so i have to pause to be productive. Huge appreciation for the rhythm of the drama and how it amps up very naturally and mostly smoothly.

    The one grateful thought that he threw to the sky was that he was not surrounded by trees. Truly, Harry was used to waking up in enchanted and lonesome forests and while he could surely survive in one again, the wide-open, grassy plain was a sight for sore eyes.
    The untamed magic and general feel of a land unknown to him were far outweighing any relief he could find, however.
    Because of course Harry Potter, the boy who had never stuck between the lines of “physics” and “magic,” would again defy the rules and end up very, very far from Hogwarts – the place where he should have been at the moment. Appearing in a world with nothing but the clothes on his back and the wand in his holster for protection was very unfortunate indeed, and it was only the mind-numbing shock Harry was in at the current moment that saved the grass in a small radius from him from an explosive destruction.
    “What,” he said, “is this.”
    OR.
    The one where Harry finds himself in Middle-Earth and goes with Bilbo on his quest, making attachments and saving a few lives along the way. But don't be fooled: Fawkes is the real hero of this story. This is basically an "EVERYTHING IS BETTER WITH FAWKES" story. I'm a big fan of his.

    What could Uchiha Sasuke possibly do in his life, except protect the ones he loves?

    With good use of his genjutsu, a bit of dramatic flair, and the help of newfound friends, Sasuke can act out any scenario and trick anyone into thinking his intentions are entirely different than what they actually are. A pity, that this feat can be as life-saving as it can be destructive. Not that the others will be able to tell.

    or: In which Sasuke has an ambition, but it's not the one you think it is.

    or: Sasuke will do anything to make Naruto stronger, even if he loses himself along the way.

    It is masterfully written and oh so compelling! The imagery is very good, however the shifts from pov narratives to the broken memory(??) paragraphs is very hard to understand for me. interestingly, this was so opposite of my preferred reading it’s funny to me XD it goes into an honored place on my shelf, though i am not interested in reading it again personally, primarily because of the sad ending by my standards

    Watching Naruto and Sasuke fight Kaguya from the sidelines was not as safe as it should have been. Blasted by the alien goddess, Kakashi and Sakura find themselves twenty-five years in the past. A familiar war is brewing and the village is filled with ghosts. Is it real or some strange version of the Infinite Tsukuyomi? With no way to know for sure, their options are limited. They should probably leave things alone, but familiar silver hair proves too great a temptation.
