Summary
After a tragic accident, Sonic, only 6 years old, was left to wander the wrecked streets of what was once his home. He was found by Dr. Eggman, who took him in. Although Sonic never really viewed him as a father, they were still family in a way.
Growing up, Sonic would often run away from home and cause trouble in the city, giving him a bad reputation and causing G.U.N. to start hunting him down.Shadow, a notable G.U.N. agent, has now been tasked with taking Sonic down and bringing him in for containment. Though, it isn’t as simple as he had thought. Sonic’s speed and strength rival his own, and his actions are erratic, unpredictable.
At first, Sonic seems like nothing more than a complete adrenaline junkie. But as Shadow digs deeper, he starts to see there’s more to Sonic than just reckless energy—layers of complexity he hadn’t expected. -

Both figured they weren't made for finding love or a relationship, until these hedgehogs came across one another at a bar one night. Something instantaneous clicks between them that neither wants to admit.

It’s Shrimpo after all, he was the show's bully. But then an incident occurs during a standard ichor run, with the end result being Shrimpo breaking down in actual tears. In his vulnerable state, Shrimpo reveals a little more than he intended to about why he is how he is. Just that small amount of information is enough to deeply unsettle the toons. They dig deeper, whether Shrimpo wants them too or not.

Summary
While Sonic is fighting Eggman’s new “Chainsaw man” robot things get too insane and both of them end up trapped together underground in a deep pit. With Sonic injured, the Egg Mobile out of commission, and no signal because they are too deep underground, Sonic and Eggman must work together and come up with a plain to get free.
The problem is that Sonic is suffering for more then an injury from the fall; he's been showing minor signs of illness since the events of Sonic Prime that are impossible to hide anymore being stuck with Eggman. Eggman has been suffering from guilt ever since trying to kill Sonic on the ARK, which becomes impossible to hide being stuck with Sonic. Eggman might be the only one who can provide Sonic with some answers, if Sonic can bring himself to tell him about the events inside the Prism.
