It's been two years since the Wolf Spider deserted Hydra, and two years since Peter Parker enrolled in Midtown School of Science and Technology.
He's somehow scored an internship there that will help him decide whether or not he can trust the man behind obnoxious shades, except they've somehow all wormed their way into his heart already. Flash Thompson doesn't believe him, and somehow that's the least of his worries. But the Wolf Spider will never show his face again, if he can help it.Unfortunately, Hydra has something to say about that.

Summary
Iron Man saves a hurt Spider-Man, who decides to run away from a now very annoyed Tony Stark.
A few weeks later, Tony comes across Peter, a genius fifteen year old who always looks hungry and wears tattered clothing. To Peter's shock (and dismay), Tony decides to take him under his wing as his intern.
Meanwhile, Iron Man is trying to figure out who this spider-dude that is refusing to accept his help.
Set after the Civil War. Enhanced individuals are hated and feared. (Aka people hate spider-man.) Tony and Peter have never met.

OR Hydra Peter Parker is captured and lives with the Avengers who try to rehabilitate him. With everything he has learned, experienced, and believes, it's hard for him to allow them to help.

Summary
Silco's... not a good parent. As much as he loves his daughter, he has a few flaws when it comes to her. But he can explain it all away, from slipping drugs into her tea to keep her his perfect little girl to keeping her safe away from the world. He can even explain giving her to the Enforcers in exchange for Zaun - after all, they've given their word that Jinx is not to be harmed.
Ekko, meanwhile, went to the bridge upon overhearing the Enforcers' plans to capture Jinx on their radios - she's too far gone, and as the last person who knew Powder as well as the leader of the Firelights, it's his job to put her down.
But after rescuing her instead upon realizing Jinx is still at least a little Powder, when he learns that 'Jinx' the persona isn't real but instead a defense mechanism, upon learning about the drugs in her system and the pain and fear inflicted on her, he insists she can be saved.
And thus begins the rest of her life.
(Featuring childhood-friends-to-enemies-to-friends-to-lovers Timebomb, a complicated relationship between Jinx and Silco, genius Firelight bioengineer Jinx/Powder, and Jinx proving she's stronger and better than anyone gives her credit for.)

Not after the events that happened at Headquarters in Nueva York.
He had already been struggling ever since Uncle Aaron, ever since his uncle had been killed before his very eyes. Even before Aaron had died, he had been having nightmares after Peter Parker, his Spider-Man, had been killed. Though, at least he had been getting some sleep in between the nightmares. Then the Spot, Miguel, the Spider Society, and Dimension 42 happened.
Miles couldn’t recall the last time he had slept. He knew he had been zoning out, maybe even disassociating, but he didn’t know of the last time he truly fell asleep and stayed asleep.

As you can tell, this causes problems. Especially since he was born with this, and the gods have no idea he has such a gift.
At least he's always ten steps (and ten years sometimes) ahead of his enemies.

Kronos was a sore loser.
When most people lost a fight, they sulked for a bit, maybe burst into golden monster dust if you were particularly lucky, or just started trying to kill you again if you weren’t.
They did not, in Percy’s (quite considerable, he likes to think) experience, start glowing so brightly that it felt like your retinas would never recover before knocking you sound unconscious.
OR
(When you're thrown back in time after defeating Kronos only to have to defeat Kronos for the second time. Percy's life is kind of a cosmic joke.)

Ya'aburnee, in Arabic, is a declaration that Damian has experienced. It is simply a declaration that you hope your love will outlive you, for being in the world without them would be unbearable. Death is not one to give up his quarry so easily, but the Waynes have bested him twice. Damian knows that he could tear the veil once more if needed, but would not wish such a fate upon Marinette.
So, when he returns to himself after two years, the gravity of her grief leaves him breathless.
In which Damian returns to his Angel, yet only finds that her wings have been shredded in sorrow.
