“You’re getting slower, Jim,” the man commented, jumping back as Jim sprung back to his feet. Even through the thick, quick breaths he could feel how condescending he was being.
“And you’re getting tired,” he shot back, swinging his sword up sloppily. He missed completely, throwing himself off balance, even more so when a stony leg hit him in the side. He fell, hitting the ground yet again.
“And lazier,” Strickler continued, circling Jim slowly. “If you aren’t going to put in the effort, I don't know why I’m wasting my time out here.” Jim snarled, trying to push himself up. “I don’t know why you’re so difficult, I’m only trying to help you.”
“Yeah, a lot of help you’ve been,” Jim spat, standing up with his sword back in hand.
“And what exactly is that supposed to mean?” Strictler responded, changing his position so he could more easily doge Jim’s next strike. He knew what it meant, he had to. Strictler had been a thorn in his side since he had received the amulet. What if when we get to space and we find out that all our movies, stories, etc. where humans are weak and (honestly) pathetic compared to most of the species in the galaxy, were wrong. What if we are actually the strong ones? The crazy ones? The hard-to-kill ones? The dangerous ones? Or maybe even the adorably cute ones? The ones that will out-progress most other species because we take seemingly too big/stupid risks and it pays off? Or we are very good at looking at problems from different perspectives. etc. You get the point.

Summary
This is not to be confused with either the Mickey Mouse cartoon from Fantasia, or the 2010 Disney movie. Instead, this was based on a 2001 British film about Merlin, Morgana, and a boy in modern times.
Young Ben turns out to be linked to Merlin, and has some magic power. He meets a girl his age at his new school named Nicole, and runs afoul of the school bully Kyle. Using his powers, he humiliates Kyle and helps Merlin save the day.
I envisioned this story as following the movie, as Ben and Nicole get closer, and Kyle gets revenge - in an unexpected way.

What if Anne never had the chance to be brought back to life? Instead, she never truly came back?
What if the god before her decided that she was the perfect guardian angel? So, it presents her with two choices:
1, she would be allowed to create a resting place she desired. A replica of anything she pleased, or her own creation. She would watch the future of her loved ones. Though, she would be prohibited to interact with them. Her only ability being able to observe.
2, she would be blessed with the choice of being a guardian angel for Sasha and Marcy. Visiting them in dreams, communicating messages and guiding them in the right path. She would be able to see them face to face again, despite being invisible to them both.
The deity knew her decision before she even voiced it. It was obvious, the way her hand twitched and hovered over the table, the way her eyes lit up at the mere mention of Sasha and Marcy.
So, with a grin, it granted her wish. Excitement bubbled in her chest at the thought of seeing her girls and helping them once more.
She just never thought her decision would make her spiteful, feeling hatred beyond repair. Vengeance seeping in her blood.

During their confrontation on Toad Tower, when Anne is undeterred by Sasha's usual 'End Of Discussion' tactic, she instead resorts to drastic measures, leading to the Plantars learning something new about Anne.
